Little bit of word play on everyone’s favorite fried bird…chicken, and comparing it switching from a Range Rover to Coupe.
In one sense: I used to ride on the range (where chickens chill and shit), and then the chickens went nuts when I freed them from the coop (coupe).
Real world sense: I used to whip a Range Rover, but then women (chicks) started going wild over the new coupe (prolly a Lambo if business is good).

Probably one of the most recognizable rap beefs when we were growing up. 50 Cent dissed a ton of rappers on the come up, but really didn’t fuck with Ja Rule and Murder Inc. After a while, 50 blew up and Ja and Irv Gotti fell off the map.

One of the first spots we started hittin up in NYC was the Nuyorican Poet’s Café on 3rd and Ave C. When I first started writing verses we used to hit up amateur nights and test them out.
Overall, some of the craziest slam poets around the world have performed there.
