On July 20, 2012, A mass shooting occurred inside of a Century movie theater in Aurora, Colorado, during a midnight screening of the film The Dark Knight Rises. A gunman, dressed in tactical clothing, set off tear gas grenades and shot into the audience with multiple firearms, killing 12 people and injuring 70 others. The sole suspect, James Eagan Holmes, was arrested outside the cinema minutes later.

Em is is literally stating the whole world is so messed up, you can’t even go do every day tasks without being wary of danger around. And, of course, by making light of this incident, he is being an asshole.

Besides the two references to Batman villains in the previous line, “goddamn” is delivered to sound like “Gotham”.

Currently reigning at the top of the hip hop empire Kendrick has the world in his hands, so to speak.

The irony is that Kendrick is a small dude (around 5'6") – he couldn’t even palm a 30 inch basketball like the Globetrotter’s best (aka Wilt Chamberlain), yet he can control the whole planet in one hand, millions of times bigger than a basketball.

Another of his clubs, The Darby, venue opened earlier than expected in September for Beyoncé’s 29th birthday party, thrown by husband Jay-Z.

Akiva’s own birthday parties have become a ritual for hip-hop and Hollywood stars. Akiva’s 35th birthday party at 1OAK in September was attended by Nelly, Busta Rhymes, Queen Latifah and Russell Simmons.
