An ostrich might bury his head in the sand when threatened, when it feels fear. I wrote this song for a friend of mine who at the time that I wrote this, was sleeping on my couch after his parents kicked him out. I’m being sincerely worried about him at this time, so I’m offering him a bed here.

Love that Gang starr bar that fits the theme of this song perfectly. Some people I’m talking to are stuck doing the same thing over and over again, and then complaining about shit going down any time it does. You should always try to improve, even if this means doing different things and getting out of your comfort zone.

In a Greek myth Sisyphus had to push a boulder up a hill, but whenever it reached the top, it fell down on the other side. He had to continue doing this forever, doing the same thing over and over again. I used this as a metaphor for people who keep doing the same thing and then complain about things not changing.

I’m going to show you the times when I found the bottom, which is where the king of the underworld resides.

I’m also going to show you my good times, which I depict as a Mercedes in this metaphor.

If you feel like you’ve missed something you should press repeat and listen again, because I’m closing up again (window-reference yet again). I’m standing up out of my bed, was in there over thinking life for what feels like ages. I gotta stand up and move on from this over thinking anyway so I’m doing it now.

‘'Life Goes On’‘ is a song by rapper 2Pac, which is about some fallen homies from the past. These homies are metaphors for every moment that gave me shame, happiness, pain or sassiness, and the last goes on. I gotta leave the memories behind, and finally close the book and move on.

I’ve been very open and personal on this album. I have showed both victories and losses. I felt this was my deepest project thus far, so I’m proud of saying ‘'I’m deep’‘. I was transparent to ya’ll, being truthful about everything I’ve said.

Feels like this life is continuing to be foul at times and a blessing at times too. Ups and Downs. Life is testing me, and I’m screaming desperately at the sky for someone to please answer me. A deity perhaps, for some guidance or advice. But not getting the answers is just destiny
