Looking for a G, capital, well you found it Jet Life by Curren$y (Ft. Big KRIT & Wiz Khalifa) 1

This is a classic double entendre “looking for a G” as in a gangster or a grand ($ 1,000) which is known as a “G”. Curren$y reinforces the entendre by stating “capital — when is used in the terms of accounting it means assets remaining after deduction of liabilities; the net worth of a business; or the ownership interest in a business. ” not to be confused with the song capitol (which by definition it is the most important city or town of a country or region, usually its seat of government.) Unless there is a typo in the spelling of the song name and he meant Capital.

Tryna break a ho and make change What U Mean by Big KRIT (Ft. Ludacris) 2

When someone has a large bill ($20,$50,$100) and exchanges it for smaller bills ($1,$5,$10) it is known as breaking a dollar. An example would be if you only had a twenty but wanted to get something from a vending machine which only takes $1s,$5s, and $10 bills. You would have to break it down and ask for two $10 bills, four $5 bills, or twenty $1 bills. Big Krit is using this to describe breaking a female mentally and using her body to make him some money aka pimping. .

Parts of this hook are from his verse in the Wiz Khalifa song Glass House with Curren$y off the 2010 mixtape Kush&OJ (it also appeared on K.R.I.T. Wuz Here)

Krit elaborated on why he re-used this hook:

Being on the road and still performing my feature of Wiz Khalifa’s ‘Glass House’ to this day, that ‘What you mean you ain’t nasty?’ is still a line that everybody says to stop the music. I was like, ‘Shit, I’ll make a hook out of it.’ And the record came out crazy. It’s 808, trunk-rattling
