Curren$y is known for being unappreciated, underestimated, and just a whole lot of shit that starts with “un”. For instance, he’s underrated, just like most expansion teams. But even the late and great Bulls were a new expansion team at one point. The same Bulls who’s ‘96 team is considered to be the greatest NBA team ever assembled.
When you win a championship, the NBA awards you a ring with your team’s emblem on it. Curren$y is saying that all of these people who are sleeping on him now are going to recognize him once he’s made it to the top where he can flex his championship fingers, or show off his past success and accolades.
Note the double entendre on “championship fingers.” It could also mean Curren$y, one of rap’s bigger stoners, is rollin up them doobs perfectly!

Following the theme of the last line, Drake compares his position in the rap game to the current position of NBA prospect and Kansas Jayhawk, Andrew Wiggins. The reference may be a little out of the blue until you remember Wiggins was raised in Toronto. People are calling Andrew Wiggins the next LeBron James, similar to how Drake’s fans see him becoming a future legend in the rap game.
