By saying “I’m Jason Bourne!” Heems creates another perfectly ironic parallel to help facilitate a popular meme in Heems’s music. The idea that he’s different and people try to categorize him/tell him who he is.

Big Baby Gandhi is a noted Wu fan, which may help to explain his RZA-like abilities of rapping and making all his own beats.

His name, however, relates to another Wu member (and BBG’s religion). Back in the day, ODB tried to change his name to Big Baby Jesus. BBG however, is Hindu, so he substitutes in the name of a liberator of his people, as opposed to the Christian liberator of spirit.

This is such a goofy line.

Sarah Palin is a (pretty well known) republican known for pissing people off and bringing attention to herself. Hence the “suing.” Republicans are also typically members of the middle and upper class, who advocate for less central government.

Stalin, on the other hand, was the leader of Communist Russia during one of the poorest periods in the country’s history.

So despite reading communist literature and taking action against those on the other side of the political spectrum, he’s still shining like a fucking venture capitalist.

DZA’s talking about The Green Door in San Francisco, one of the premier cannabis clubs located in SOMA district. The Green Door is known for (besides an amazing selection of marijuana) their frequent collaborations with streetwear/skateboard companies such as DGK.

He is detached/disconnected from his origins.

This may be in reference to where he belongs in society.
Its well known that he actually grew up in the suburbs, and his behaviour (promiscuity, unhealthy eating and drug use) doesn’t reflect this.
