Joey’s apparent gun of choice is the Glock semi-automatic 9mm. I personally would’ve gone with the Desert Eagle when facing cops (you know, because of the bulletproof vests) but it’s whatever.

The Cool Kids are cooler than you will ever be. Even when they’re just watching TV, eating Fruity Pebbles, wearing Star Wars merch, and generally not giving a hoot, they still trump you.

Like Jay-Z said, “Pulling R&B bitches, wearing hoodies”

Nas grew up living the same trife life as fellow QB natives Mobb Deep, a life filled with crack pipes and nighttime violence near abandoned buildings (a “blight” is “an ugly, neglected, or rundown condition of an urban area.”)

Most people that live that lifestyle end up doing time in jail, dead, or hooked on drugs. “White lines” can refer to both lines of cocaine (remember, coke was huge in the 80s) or the white lines they put around bodies at a crime scene.

This could also be a reference to “White Lines (Don’t Do It)”, a hit song by hip-hop pioneer Grandmaster Melle Mel.
