In this day and age, we’ve become so accustomed to forging relationships with numerous ways of texting to each other.

The degrees of separation play a part in having to still see an exes name. Be continuously reminded of them, even if you don’t see or hear of them.

Should I delete you from my chat? My contacts? Block you on Twitter? Unfriend you on Facebook? etc…

Sometimes we choose not to and hope that there will not be a twinge of emotions when we happen to see that name pop up,
that it will just look like another word.

We had been to so many places in our relationship.
We tried to start over, many times. It never felt like starting over with no carry over from old shit.

The decision to finally quit, especially in a marriage, regardless of what point we were at, is a huge step.
