We used to always emulate stars growing up. I was heavily influenced by all the big hip hop and R&B artists of the 90’s and Blackstreet would always have some rediculous overalls on with one strap clipped in or one leg rolled up.

People who are in no place to judge throw dirt on your name based on things I say in songs. Some are simply mad I robbed them for some pot in my younger years. “Used to Jack-Pot” Lottery like as in the Lottery jack pot

I was getting really sick of simple “Swag” music in which the songs came with a dance and a repetitive, sickening chorus.

Very self explanatory. The word “Life” comes up alot within the verse to convey an overall theme of what it may be about and all of the different things I was associating with the word at the time I wrote it.

Some messages are more obvious than others. Some come to you vaguely as signs or foreshadowing, and some in a more literal sense are actual messages sent to you via mail or physically delivered messages. This is a quick “Wuddup” to all my people who are currently in jail.
