This line is actually very clever, on one hand is saying Vic “brought the beef up”, or mentioned their beef with someone, and when he did Mick pulled out his gun to show their seriousness. However, this line can also be used as Vic metaphorically “brought the beef up”, using the other meaning of beef, as in livestock, and Mick brought the gun to slaughter it. The next line again serves as a double-entendre saying “You think you can stomach it?”. Not only does he mean can you stomach the slaughtering of the beef (livestock), but also stomach that they got beef and a gun and are ready for action, as in you scared?

Additionally a lot of people claim Native American heritage when they have very little to none. A common thing said is my great great grandmother was a Cherokee princess etc.
