“DL” is an abbreviation of down-low – meaning quietly or secretly. In the context of the next line, he further emphasises his quiet and mysterious nature with “low-key” – one of the meanings of which is similar to down-low.
In the context of seashells, when certain ones are held to the ear they produce a low, deep and engulfing sound that resembles the ocean. GZA is similarly low-key; a rapper’s dream. In music terms, a “key” is the measurement of the pitch of the note(s) or sound. Therefore, the sound you hear in seashells is literally low-key.
The word ‘seashells’ may also be a pun. Instead of simply referring to the obvious, it’s also a homophone for C-shells. C-notes are not particularly low-key per se, but they are often the lowest key on keyboards and basic scales―then again, they’re also the highest.
Dad: Listen to the GZA son. Listen to the sound of the Wu.
Son: Dad you were right. Wu Tang is for the Children

I always understood it as low-key, meaning on the down low. But key as in another way of saying caye meaning a low elevation island. So he saying low-key like Seychelles which are low elevation islands off the coast of East Africa.
I always assumed it was C shells like bullets firing in the pitch of C note.
Another meaning is you only see his shells left from a shooting but hes already gone, low key.

On top of this could add yet another meaning : a quay is a body of water, at the bottom of which one may find seashells (low quay), which is also a pretty low key (inconspicuous) place to be
