Thank god Iggy got so many nominations; if it wasn’t for her, all the Youtube-comment-tier hate would be directed over here.

Is this where you get the same kind of deal that France got for the Louisiana Purchase?

An indirect double entendre of sorts here: There’s definitely some “high” imagery since the whole song is about selling drugs, but it goes beyond that. Not only is “she” raising him up so that he is “high up” in the world, but being in the drug game taught him how to get high (maybe not just on drugs, but on power as well).

“Cushion my fall if my engines ever stall and I plummet from the sky” could be describing his feeling of invincibility at the top, and as we all know, no one is safe at the top. This could again be an effect of him being “high;” his rise to the top made him oblivious to threats to his well-being, which is an effect that many actual drugs have.

Referencing E-40’s song Captain Save-a-Hoe. Danny compares the average guy to himself as a “white knight” or Captain Save-a-Hoe, since they aren’t willing to treat women rough like he is. Incidentally, Danny’s a pretty big E-40 fan.

This hook is literally a classic, no exaggeration. Did these guys not listen to 1999? Did they accidentally delete the list and decide to just shuffle the numbers and publish it like that? The most influential song from Infinite is the worst? Seriously?

This is one of the most inspirational songs ever made in rap, this shit got me through my depression in high school, this is better than 90% of the post-sellout bullshit above it on here no contest. I know it’s Spin but Jesus Christ I’m offended.

A lot of this song uses a very similar flow to that of Luxury.

Miss Bank$ was Azealia’s rap moniker when she first started out. She left it in 2011 after leaving XL Recordings.

Nestlé is known for their chocolate; she is sweet, yummy, and desirable, as well as dark brown like the color of milk chocolate. She was the the best sex he ever had, but seeing as she didn’t swallow, she wasn’t fully committed to it. The feeling wasn’t mutual.
