Azizi is one of the people that I’ve listened to more than I thought I would after I made a thred about him. His songs off of his new project The Last have thoroughly impressed me and most of those songs are on the most played playlist in my phone.

This is a the guy that unintentionally created the Put Me On Theme Song. He’s doing something a bit different than all of his other peers within Chicago. As a film head, I can appreciate the effort that Nick puts in all his shit. Lots of quality composition in his raps as well as production, and nothing is done without meaning.

Frank has completely mastered his flow. Production wise, he’s got gems under this belt. Lyrically, his rhyme scheme is one of kind. And he’s as funny as he is dynamic. He’s, in my opinion, the best rapper in the state of Washington.

I didn’t choose Amir Obe because he’s some particularly soulful or anything. He just has a chill vibe that you can relax to. One of the chillest I’ve heard. And fortunately he’s good at rapping. That’s not a usual quality I’m hearing from chill rappers.

Like I said in the thread, I’ve known about Yahiness for a while and when I found him his first mixtape, was thoroughly impressive.I’m not one to say “he doesn’t get the shine he deserves”, but I found him deep within the cracks of Youtube with like 300+ views, he’s doing much better with his newer songs & mixtape, but hopefully me putting you onto him will help him much more.
King Milo

So King Milo has 2 mixtapes out since I’ve heard about him and I’ve yet to listen to them. I’m somewhat disappointed in myself because Ankh God wasn’t even that bad. Maybe I’m slippin, maybe Milo went into hiding and just pops up with projects every year. If I’m slacking, then the regular rap fans are sleeping majorly.

Anjelihs is one of those exceptions I talked about. I think he needs to get one hook hit, and people will finally come out fheir coma on him. His music is perfectly described as a pearl (his voice) that sits on the neck of the sometimes ratchet, celestial woman that is his production. Metanoia is out btw!!

I checked out Fxck The Hype and I have to be honest, I understand that Uno has potential and everything, but sonically, the mixtape was basic. I’ve yet to hear Be Good, but I’m hoping that he met the hype he shot the middle finger to.

I’m not going to lie, Chaz French completely eclipsed his other peers in his week. It’s no fault of theirs really, I just enjoyed his stuff that much more. I firmly believe that Chaz’s project is the best project of the year 2014, if not Top 3. And just like Cozz, he just didn’t have enough music videos for a full thread for his own.

Noah Caine has this epic sound fit for an NY rapper. However, I feel he can go bigger, maybe with some Just Blaze production he can jump the latter real fast. I just got his new album, Rookie Season. I’m gonna put it on my phone and see how much he’s grown since the Pre-Season.

I wouldn’t fuck with DP for all of the gold and cash in the Bling Bling video. His music is so menacing, the production is as sinister as his bars. I haven’t seen one interview, but I feel like he doesn’t speak much. He only talks when he has something to say and what he’s got to say is important. Prlly why Designer Casket is taking so long to come out.
Daye Jack

Cozz

I knew that Cozz would be a success when I first heard him, but I never thought that he and Omen would be on the same team. Cozz also had one of the best mixtapes of 2014. He’s actually the reason I wanted to do Honorable Mentions he was just too good, but at the time he just didn’t have enough music out to make a full thread.
