This is the most complicated in some sorts. What made me think of the Body part is the term “Hardbody” meaning: tough. Basically, people in this category are “going hard” whether it be the beat the hard hitting beat that shines in this, the synonymous delivery. Some of the people here might be more aggressive or simple and fun.

This category is for rappers or at least their song are focused heavily on their lyrics. I’m not necessarily saying the person in this category is a lyricist, but they focus more on lyrics comparatively to the others in their peers in Body & Soul.

A part of me wants to say that Eric is the other half of the modern day Outkast if Big Krit would just collab with him. But I don’t want to put him in the “new Andre 3K” boat like everyone is doing with Raury and Bino and shit. He’s unique in his own right and the voice doesn’t even bother me.

Russ might have to be one of the most underrated dudes I’ve ever done. He’s producing, he’s rapping, and he’s kind of beating a lot of these dudes at it. For some reason his thread has more downvotes than anyone, and that’s weird to me. He’s definitely top 3 of the short cast of Season 3.

Moses Sumney
Los Angeles, California
Moses is probably going to be on my top list of favorite singers. He’s the dude that’s going to make me fall in love with acoustic music. Who needs drums anymore lol. He' playing with my emotions just like Frank cause of how long it’s taking for his next project to come out.

Daniel Caesar
Toronto, Canada
Daniel is taking his music in so many different directions. It elevates my expectations for any more singers. Not only do you have to be able to sing, but you have to be versatile with your music, the production (same production team as Sean Leon), the subject matter, it can’t be that simple shit anymore. Well, it can, but it better be fucking good.

Nosidam.

You can check what I said in the thread, Nosidam is making the best baby making music of the decade. Period.

Sometimes, you just have to not give a fuck and when you feel that way, you play Pouya. You put him on, you shut up, and you just nod your head. Don’t ask questions, just enjoy yoself. When he’s not playing anymore, we will then answer all of the questions that were in your head, but no one talks while Pouya is playing. Period.

If J. Cole wants to build that Dreamville team, King Mez is someone that needs to be on that roster. Is it good that I can’t necessarily pin his sound down? I don’t know who he’s making music for, so I assume everyone. I don’t really feel like he’s like anyone.

Honestly, I’m waiting for GoldLink to blow up just so I can be that dude to say “I knew him before he blew up” then when he starts making music that people aren’t use to hearing from him, I can say “It’s cool Link, (I’ll call him Link) yo real fans still fuck with you” and then I’m gone drive off playing Ay Ay loud as I can with bitches twerking out the window.

Now I’m wondering if I like drill music or if this even drill music at all and I just like this shit. Yet again, another Chicago rapper that is overlooked and he’s actually putting out shit that both sides of food chain are hungry for…..or maybe the stoners like it the most?

I first took notice to YC the Cynic because Anthony actually gave him high score as a rapper. Actually, that’s not true. I first heard him as a feature on a Chaundon and gahdamn that shit was nice. He’s especially here for you people going:

Oh man, I wanna heard some rappers with some lyrics, and not all about the bitches and shit.
