This refers to how less popular rappers gain money and attention if they diss Eminem on a track. This was the case with the 2018 feud between Em and Machine Gun Kelly. This notion also allowed Benzino to cling onto his career in the early 2000s.
“Pub” refers to a published work or publishing rights; meaning that he deserves a share in the profits that his opponents earn. “Pub” is also another word for a bar. Em uses this to segue into some wordplay surrounding homonyms for the word “line”—as in lyrical phrases or the queue line to get into a club.
This further sets up some triple entendre for the word “cut.” Not only does Eminem want to cut in line, to advance early, but he also wants a cut of the aforementioned royalties. Additionally, he says “cut” right before the first verse ends and the screen goes black—“cut” being what movie directors say at the end of a scene.
A cut is also when you want your beer refilled when its not done.
