At the end of the day, I just hope that my music can be an outlet for anyone dealing with the everyday struggle, and hopefully it can guide someone from being caught up in life’s bullshit to achieving greater.

This line is written in pure irony. You would think that something that happens constantly is normal, but there’s really nothing normal about murder. No matter the circumstances, it’s always pretty fucked up.

I was raised in Prince George’s County, Maryland, or PG County for short. It happens to be directly outside of Washington, DC, where I was born. The DC/DMV area is known for the crime rate/drug sales and high pregnancy/STD rates, so I used that as a double entendre with “keep the D in it” and “never learned to pull out”.

If you send out an email and put the addresses in the BCC field (rather than To or CC), it blocks out the email addresses so people who receive can’t tell who else it was sent to. This was a pseudo-reference, since you would still see the sender, of course. I’m weird and I do things like that sometimes when rhyming.
