What Frank forgot to say in person, he says in a text message later.

“Texas speed” might refer to lean, since the concoction of cough syrup (promethazine with codeine) and soda was invented in Houston. Consuming lean slows your speech, though even Texans not imbibing the substance might move and talk more slowly than people in other parts of the country. “Texas speed” could simply refer to the pace of life in the South.

“It Was a Good Day” is a 1993 song by West Coast legend Ice Cube.

The song popularized the phrase “today was a good day” (the phrase was also the original title of the song). Cube described the song:

The inspiration was my life at the time … I was at the top of the rap game. It was the summer of ’92 and I was in a hotel room, really in a state of euphoria. I had all the money I had dreamed of. I was in a good frame of mind. And I remember thinking, ‘Okay, there’s been the riots, people know I will deal with that. That’s a given. But I rap all this gangsta stuff—what about all the good days I had?

the respectful thing to do would be to build your own comments section and hire people to moderate it.

What’s interesting though is their brewery in Amsterdam isn’t listed here, or is that more of a “for show” brewery and not a big production plant? Not sure.

Travel tip: If you’re in Amsterdam go to the Heineken brewery and do the tour. You get two free beer tokens and free beer on the tour which basically covers the cost of the tour!

I’m going to this brewery in December. I’ll let y'all know if it’s good (and if they have lots of panels).
