“Wir fliegen” is a battle theme from the game Xenoblade Chronicles X. It appears when the player’s character goes into Overdrive on foot, a mechanic of the game’s combat system where several aspects' limits are lifted.

Oddly, the song generates a more focused and serene soundscape than the regular battle or boss themes, thus strengthening the sense that the character goes in some kind of trance state.

Its instrumental is also part of the game’s OST.

“Wir fliegen” shares its melodic theme with another theme from the game, LP.

The game’s OST album also includes an unused piano version of LP/Wir fliegen.
