“A Good Man Is Gone” is a series of 3 brief hip-hop narratives. Each verse depicts its own respective set of unfortunate circumstances and ends in controversial violence shrouded in obscured morality. Combine this powerful imagery with Uncle Murda’s classically raw delivery to yield this artistic masterpiece, exceptionally able to actually accurately capture the street essence of cultural conflict.

A symptom of Bipolar I disorder is periods of mania, which can include psychosis. It’s defined as losing touch with reality and the physical world around you.

In this context it’s a result of the “manic high”, or mania, where the brain is extremely overstimulated often eliciting a sense of euphoria. When this goes on for too long it can result in auditory/visual hallucinations, confusion, and paranoia. By some, a manic high has been compared as being similar to the use of stimulants such as amphetamines.
