I guess Yelawolf is a bit of a big Jim Carrey fan!

Me, Myself and Irene and Fun With Dick and Jane are both Jim Carrey movies, both with a male star (in this case, Yelawolf) and a female co star (Yelawolf’s woman he’s with).

The movie Fun With Dick and Jane is about a couple on the verge of becoming bankrupt, so in order to survive, they go on a spree of robberies and through doing so, they profit off of it insanely.

Also, Me, Myself and Irene came out before Fun With Dick and Jane …. just like the order he referenced them in!

Shears, like all sharp things, dull down after a long while of usage.

You’re using the same washed up, played out themes as everyone else that has been doing the same thing for even longer than you’re doing it – that’s alot of dullness there. Seeing how you’re not appealing to anyone and being generally not successful, you just aren’t making the cut (succeeding) in the rap game.

Then comes Danimal, with a sharp as fuck knife in one hand, in to refresh us all with a new talent and image. And look how eager he is to assist!

He’s bored with all the work these internet rappers are sending him – he’s just not feeling their recordings.

In one of his webisode videos titled “Danimal Planet” (although this particular one is called “#DADimal”) he offer some helpful advice to the internet rappers that he thinks sucks.

That’s what you should do if you suck at something, you should stop… internet rappers, catch my drift? That’s not a subliminal “read between the lines”.

He considers even their best work to be unimportant.

In the lyric video for this song, when you get to this part, you see a cartoon version of Lector in a Hannibal Lector mask. So as he is wearing that mask, a dentist appointment would be pretty useless as they would be unable to do anything regarding his mouth, seeing how it’s blocked off by the mask.

Danimal reminds us that he has a killer flow, which he continously demonstrates throughout his discography – his flows constantly switch up during his songs, effortlessly changing speeds.

He finishes off this reminded by comparing what he does to a rifle getting cocked back before firing.

Tic Tac Toe is a relatively simple game where the objective is to get your shape (either an X or an O) lined up cross the board before the other player can.
