Iman Shumpert’s 42′ max vertical leap ranks just as high in our historical database as his no-step vertical—tied for the best result in the last seven years. He’s an inch behind Vince Carter’s mark from 1998 and just an inch and a half behind Nate Robinson’s 2004 leap.

Bob Knight is most well known as the head coach of the NCAA, college basketball team, Indiana Hoosiers from 1971–2000.

He is one of only three basketball coaches to win an NCAA title, NIT title, and an Olympic gold medal.

Nino is saying that he can blow up like Bobby Knight who was blown up for 3 decades, leading Indiana to many championships, while at the same time, Nino can blow up like how Bobby Knight was known to ‘blow up’ like a grenade during press conferences, towards players, and on court.

Bob Knight is known for yelling at refs, choking a player during his Hoosier days, throwing chairs on court when a bad call was made. I mean… do you really want to “blow a fuse” and get Nino mad? You don’t want to face this:

Nino’s got heat, flames, fire, he’s hot, so he holds the fire just like Street Fighter’s Ryu who forms Hadouken waves in his hand, Nino spits that and fries people up with it.

Q-Tip starred as Elijah in the movie ‘Prison Song’. Fat Joe’s character’s name was ‘Big Pete’.

From Wiki:
“Elijah winds up in jail for accidentally killing one of his foster brothers Big Pete by pushing him on to the subway TRACKS during an altercation”

Q-Tip killed Fat Joe on the (subway) “tracks” in Prison Song. Nino will kill anyone on tracks (songs) from any list, like how Q-Tip killed Fat Joe on a track.

In the Manga and animated series, Dragonball Z, Goku’s strongest attack was known as the ‘Spirit Bomb’. He would raise his arms and transfer all his energy to a condensed ki blast, and ask others to raise their arms and focus on transferring their soul’s energy to contribute into charging up the devastating attack. Undoubtedly one of the top, if not the strongest attack in the Dragonball Universe.

Nino Bless is saying that in this rap game, when he raises his arms, like Goku, he has some of rap’s elites (2Pac, Biggie, & Big Pun) contribute to his Spirit Bomb. A force to be reckoned with. The fact that Pac, Big, & Pun are all dead, he’s taking their souls and releasing their spirits when he attacks like a bomb on a track.

It also alludes to the term “arms,” which is short for “armaments,” commonly known as a “weapon.” Nino is Rap’s Goku in the way that he has the deadliest weapons in this game which allude to his ‘Spirit Bomb’.

He’s saying that his people are in debt so they’re praying for money, which is the color green, just like how Tim Tebow will be Tebowing (kneeling on one knee in prayer with one’s head resting on one’s fist) for The New York Jets, whose team’s color is green just like money.

“My cousin went to school with a teen who killed herself in Staten Island NY due to bullying. She apparently knew the girl as well and it affected her a great deal. She told me on the phone that some of these girls who are killing themselves are “heroes” .. Safe to say I was disturbed by this. I do NOT condone bullying one bit and I’m 100% against this but something that is even more troubling than bullying is suicide. Aside from that we have a huge issue with kids these days being far too influenced and not enough people standing on their own trying to be their own individual. All of this is what inspired this song since I hadn’t heard anyone else in our genre speak on this. If you’ve listened to this song, thank you.”

–Nino Bless

The Song samples German rapper Casper’s Song Auf und Davon for the first verse.

This line is ill because mobsters used to (still do) kidnap people like snitches or adversaries, blindfold them up in a chair, and beat them with a baseball-bat. Also, bats, the animals, are blind, but when people rage, they are blind… Therefore when someone angrily beats the shit out of someone with a bat, they could be “blind-batting.” Also, blind-bat can mean that they don’t see themselves beating up the person, therefore under oath in court testimonies, technically, they did not witness the beating, since they were “blind-batting.”

This song appeared on Lysick’s debut compilation album released on February 14th, Valentine’s Day, 2012, “YOLO (You Only Love Once).” The music video gained recognition upon release, reaching approximately 220,000 views in 3 days.

“YOLO: You Only Love Once” – Lysick ft. Krystale (produced by Reese Jones)
Drake’s YOLO (You Only Live Once) is a popularized term for today’s trend of the same name. “YOLO” was supposed to be a collaborative titled mixtape, or album with Rick Ross. The YOLO joint-venture has since then seem to have been scratched off as Rick Ross prepares to release his “God Forgives, I Don’t” album, while Drake is touring for ‘Club Paradise’.

The Montreal-based MC released his first single, “YOLO (You Only Love Once)” in order to take advantage of the term. The original YOLO project was since cancelled anyway, and he decided to flip the overused acronym and put a different meaning to it to fit the concept of Valentine’s Day. The single features Montreal’s star singer, Krystale, who attended the same high school as Lysick. The beat was produced by Reese Jones and samples George Michael’s ‘Careless Whisper’.

The album with the same name of the single (YOLO (You Only Love Once)) was released on Valentine’s Day and follows the concept of heartbreak. Although a touchy subject that Lysick usually doesn’t speak on, he decided to take advantage of the YOLO-acronym and release the project for the lovely occasion.
