Jericho is a city in the West Bank of Palestine. There used to be a large, stone wall that protected the city from invaders.

In the Old Testament (more specifically the Book of Joshua), it was said that the wall was only able to be taken down by none other than the divine power of God.

Therefore, Canibus is saying that his bars are well-protected, to the point where one would need divine intervention to be able to destroy them and defeat Bis.

33 is the highest degree one can reach in the Scottish Rite branch of Freemasonry. When one reaches that level, they are said to be “illuminated”.

A chart supposedly mapping out the various levels (degrees) of Freemasonry.

Therefore Canibus is simply reiterating the belief that those who are of the 33rd degree (illuminated) can provide “knowledge/wisdom” to even the most unenlightened.

Tupac had a obsession with his own death, and it is heard in many of his lyrics. Here he speaks of rumors of his death told to him, but it was just that, a rumor spread by a “coward,” someone too scared to face him in a confrontation. The problem that the coward had was that Tupac was alive and well at the time of the rumor.

The images of his corpse and his mother sobbing adds to the vivid and emotional imagery his music imparts upon the listener. Those two lines may also say that Pac did indeed see “Death Around the Corner.”

What makes this line the more mysterious is the theory that began to spread after Pac’s death that Pac is still alive, and living in Cuba

This is about his actual death there where no rumours, the only rumour is 7Sept – 13 Sept 1996

Honestly my gut feeling is HRe is literally speaking on his death and stating that his death was a roumor and that his mother cried when she saw the released pics as in hoax
