In the versatile and adverse realm of Hip Hop one is to be prepared for poor promotional investments that may not bring the revenue one initially expected. Long studio sessions are also possible(with minimal to no progress) and one must be prepared for such adversities. Inadequate promotional investments can strain one financially if the venue or promotion does not garner enough fans or followers.

Many MC’s or rappers do not realize the potential of violence that encompasses the realm of Hip Hop. It is filled with violent and envious individuals who may not enjoy one prospering. One who enters through the gate of Hip Hop must be prepared for maliciousness, vilification, and adversaries. Not everybody is aware or is capable of handling this amount of drama and tension.

K Rino is informing all young MC’s and youth that the Rap Industry is a volatile and unpredictable business. If demand is not met and innovative talent lacks then one’s position in the industry can be expendable.

The business can bring one success and opulence. Infamy and respect, but simultaneously can bring vehemence, debt, and eventual poverty.
Essentially, one must be ready to enjoy the accommodation of a mansion, but not succumb to the lifestyle of wealth to the extent that they are dependent upon it.

This line is K Rino conveying a message to the current generation of young MC’s who are generally insecure and very feminine, that the rap industry was originated in the midst of adverse urban life. He is telling them that there is no place for weakness, the Art was born from adversity and complexity and it will continue to be so.

This occurrence is frequent in the world of Hip Hop. These lines refer to when a DJ is evidently taking advantage of an upcoming stellar MC who has composed an outstanding track. The DJ knows that this song has an extremely high probability of bringing in people to the venue and may even expand into record labels. The DJ takes advantage of this rapper by telling him that he won’t have the song played at the venue with proper payment to him.

During the path of becoming an MC, one must be prepared for a crowd to be upset regarding a line they perceive as “ wack ” and begin boo-ING you.

Unlike K Rino, Immortal Technique, and many other intelligent artists – many MC’s are just unintelligent degenerates seeking a quick path to riches.

This is what record executives look for (as they themselves are very intelligent). Many unintelligent artists with no hesitation (or consultation with an attorney), sign the record label contract only to later realize that because of his signature they now have more ownership rights to his music than he does.

If you are an MC and decided to create tracks vibrantly and descriptively illustrating the reality of violence, poverty, or murder in the urban areas of the United States; then your record label will not allow the record to be released. It is 2013 and the record companies have complete control over any music under an artist in their label. This is to make suburban and rural populations oblivious to urban societal/economic problems.
This way the problem persists in an eternal cycle and nobody even knows the truth.

This means to be original and unique. To strive to be an artist who is innovative and thrusts into new realms of art forms in Rap or Hip Hop. Innovation and originality will separate a rapper from the generic to the best.

Contrary to the thoughts of many people who aspire to be rappers, many MC’s begin in dark crowded rooms with an audience of very few. Many times gigs or shows early in a rappers career are what makes him or her popular throughout the neighborhood (through speech or reference). A DJ or producer (already infamous or amateur) can appear at these shows to hear you.
