The feud between Canibus and LL Cool J started when Canibus was featured on LL Cool J’s posse cut, “4, 3, 2, 1”.

His original lyrics contained the words, “Yo L, is that a mic on your arm? Let me borrow that.” Canibus has insisted that the line was meant as a compliment, but LL Cool J took it as a diss and wrote his verse in the same song to diss Canibus. This is what ignited the feud.

Sometime after Second Round KO, Canibus got a tattoo of a microphone on his arm, just like LL Cool J. The minute ‘Bis got the tattoo (which symbolizes 'Bis taking the mic from LL), he won the battle.
