On comprend aisément que la vision et l'opinion des personnages sont influencées par ce qu'ils sont : c'est-à-dire des fruits d'une époque, influencés par leur environnement etc.
Il ne regrette pas une époque d'antan comme le personnage du couplet 1 : la répétition de “des tours” montre qu'il est né dans ce décor.
On frolera sans doute la sur-interprétation mais le rythme ternaire du à la triple répétition de la phrase, rappelle la v.a.l.se, une danse où l'on fait “des tours” en effet.
Ce qui va parfaitement avec la suite du morceau : Vald va en effet faire de nombreux jeux de mots sémantiques autour de “tour”.

Les tours dominent le paysage, répétées à l'infini, jusqu'à devenir des cycles, tout aussi présentes dans le temps que dans l'espace, Se répetant même dans le texte de ceux qui y vivent.

Je pense qu'il parle les tours des flics dans le quartier, les tours (rotation) des dealers du quartier et puis les tours (immeuble)
Étrange, meme phrase (avec un mot synonyme : “bloc” et “tour”) et ça donne à l'auteur 2 sens complètement opposé ! Le “vieux” dit exactement la même chose que le jeune hein ! “Car y avais déjà des blocs”… L'environnement est le meme…
