KRIT is confident in thinking that if someone enjoys his music, they can’t be a lame.

Also, Krizzle will never make music just for money. He does it to inspire the people that listen; to expand their minds.

Jumping ship’ is an idiom generally associated with someone leaving a position when the job gets difficult. KRIT would never do that. He’s somewhat of a martyr; he’ll feed his family no matter what it takes.

KRIT plays on some nautical ideas: Ship & Sails. Here Krizzle plays on the saying ‘till the wheels fall off’, reinforcing the thought that he’ll never quit.

He is also implying that he’s a captain. It’s generally considered captain etiquette to be the last person off of the ship when it sinks.

In Meridian, Mississippi, there have been very few, if any, rappers to make it big. KRIT is the rarity; he’s made it big. Now that he’s known all over, he’s even bigger, or a giant, when he’s back in his hometown.

He was probably already well-liked in his city before making it huge in the rap game. He was a pimp, drug dealer, and had a ton of friends.

Truly genius punchline here. Weezy always carries weapons on him, not just handguns, but assault rifles. A .223 is actually referring to the size of ammunition a rifle takes, not a specific rifle.

Of course being the sports fan that Tunechi is, he relates this to basketball, playing on legendary shooting (get it?!) guard Michael Jordan’s jersey number: 23.

KRIT’s a player. He’s also not stupid enough to wife up a hoe, so he tells them to gtfo when he’s done with them. He draws a comparison of tossing to dice, possibly because he played Craps growing up.

Not exactly the most effective way to protest, but it’s the playoffs; they can’t just not play in the playoffs.

The reasoning behind turning the warm-ups inside-out was to show that they weren’t proud to be Clippers anymore, not with the name Donald Sterling associated with them.

He did play football, but here Krizzle is talking about basketball. Being above the rim in basketball is referring to exactly what you would think: dunking or laying up the ball. This is seen as the most effective way to score in basketball.

KRIT plays on a basketball rim and the literal rims of his whip. He’s always in his time machine, cruising around. Obviously when you’re in a car, you’re above rims.

KRIT uses weed to help him focus when he’s working long nights on his music. He plays-on ‘his grind’ (working hard) with the ‘literal grind’ of marijuana (weed needs to be ground into finer pieces to be smoked out of papers/blunts).
