Choosin', in this case, is slang for picking a girl to have sex with. KRIT grew up poor, so he doesn’t want to go back. His well-being is Far more important than a one-night-stand.

Krizzle does often incorporate the subject of how short life is in his lyrics. On his 2013 free-album, King Remembered In Time, his song “Life Is A Gamble” goes pretty in depth on the subject. In the track he encourages people to stop making stupid risks in life, because it’s so precious.

KRIT is a formidable opponent in the music industry. He has a very impressive production discography; he rarely has other producers on his own projects, and his lyrical content is critically acclaimed. He even sings!

Krizzle has stated that he doesn’t really enjoy smoking, and that he would only do it occasionally to relieve stress. Nowadays he’s been less stressed, and has the cash to afford more expensive, yet equally illegal (in the United States, at least), Cuban cigars. Cubans are often smoked by men of power and wealth… such as KINGS.

KRIT often says the flashiness and ‘Hollywood’ lifestyles that rappers live just aren’t his style. The only thing Krizzle gives a shit about is making timeless music. He doesn’t care about shiny jewelry at all, he still wears a wooden chain, even though it’s obvious that he could afford a more expensive piece.

To gain success in your profession (come up), you need to have a good attitude, and be happy; motivated. When you’re depressed, or down, it’s hard find motivation to do anything.

Krizzle plays on the simple juxtaposing words: Up & Down.

Krizzle often talks about how money can change a person, and not always in a positive manner. He believes that no amount of money can “Free His Soul”. In this song he spits lines like:

I think it was the shine that got us blinded

Here Malcolm uses both versions of Gotta: got to & got a.

Of course he has a girl, and she better be fucking.

Mac commonly shouts out other rappers in his freestyles, especially at Westwood. Here he gives a shoutout to Future, who at the time of this freestyle had just dropped his debut album Pluto.

Later in their careers, Mac and Future made a song together titled “Earth”.
