PSI is the unit that compressors measure in when pumping gas. It stands for Pounds Per Square Inch and the number has a direct correlation with the pressure that is applied throughout a pneumatic system. By tubing a compressor with a pressure gauge or manometer, you can keep a constant reading of the PSI value, which is recommended if you want to avoid over-exposure. BAR and PSI are the most common units used in PMI (Pressure Measuring Instruments). 1 PSI is the equivelant of 0.06895 BAR.

Sprockets and Pulleys are commonly used in situations where drive with unaltered properties is needed to be transferred along a fair distance. Instead of using up a ton of idler gears, pulleys are a more viable alternative. That is, if your output doesn’t require much torque. Due to the laws of friction, pulleys are less effective when it comes to transferring significant amounts of torque. Sprocket and chain systems are, however, capable of withholding and transferring much higher amounts of torque due to the way they can be meshed with spurs.

Differentials are special gears that are essential to just about any vehicle. The compact space inside can fit 3 bevel gears. The outer gear can both proportionately and disproportionately distribute the drive via the inside bevel gears, using a sun and planet concept. This allows for steering to be a much smoother process, so that one axle can rotate faster or slower than the other when neccessary.

Many cars now use a Limited Slip Differential (LSD). An LSD will change the amount of power going to the inside and outside wheel of a vehicle so they match and don’t get out of sync. If this did not happen, the inside wheel would push outward and make cornering difficult.

Bevel Gears

Bevel gears have teeth that are mounted on a 45 degree angle, allowing them to be meshed to another bevel gear on a 90 degree offset. This is particularly useful for converting rotation from a vertical axis to a horizontal axis or vice-versa.

Worm Gears

Worms gears have an odd shape and look much different to your standard spurs. They are useful for preventing backlash, increasing torque, and they can only ever be used as the driven gear. They can never be on the receiving end.

Helical Gears

Helical Gears are similar to worm gears, in the sense that they allow for perpendicular meshing, due to angled teeth. Unlike the worm gear, they can be both the driver and driven.

Backlash is the amount of space in between coupled gear teeth, which can result in unintended motion due to the fact that the gears can freely move within this. Generally, smaller gears have a tendency to produce more backlash due to the fact that they have lesser teeth than larger gears. When engineers want to avoid backlash, they use worm gears which are capable of stalling a gear in a particular position without having it move.

Every wondered why if you just accelerate your car with the steering wheel locked in a neutral position, the car slowly veers off to the side? That’s backlash!

My analysis confirms that the site is located inside a gene called DDX11L2 on human chromosome 2. Furthermore, the alleged fusion sequence contains a functional genetic feature called a “transcription factor binding site” that is located in the first intron (non-coding region) of the gene (see illustration). Transcription factors are proteins that bind to regulatory sites in and around genes to control their function, acting like switches. The DDX11L2 gene has three of these areas, one of which is encoded in the alleged fusion site.

When adding chapters of a book, create an album with the title of the book (the primary artist is the collective name e.g Holy Bible KJV), and add the individual chapters to the album. It should look a little something like below:

Once you have submitted the new text, ensure that the name of the chapter and verse number appears in front of every new line, e.g.:

Genesis 1:8: And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day.

Genesis 1:9: And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry [land] appear: and it was so.

Separate each verse by one space. In the sidebar description field you are welcome to provide a brief overview of the chapter.
