STEEZ extends the metaphor of “punchlines.” He “abuses” tracks to the point they are “blue and black” with bruises. .

In saying “But these ain’t even punchlines no more” he’s also saying that he’s not joking around anymore which is a paradox because he uses a punchline right after.

Blue and black as in the colours of the pens used in music sheets. Normally these sheets are written with black ink. He not only raps but also knows enough about music theory to edit the sheets with a secondary pen which happens to be blue.

After his death people will say “he used too rap” cuz he has bars and Steez is so slick he hides within the jokes, reference and skill his exact plan to jump to his death, how and when he will. By doing this he is taking advantage of his skill to the point of abuse by hiding easter eggs for people find later in the form of a suicide note of sorts because he knows if he tells anyone they may stop him yet he understands why he must (in his opinion) so he told everyone in his music, which they will undoubtedly listen to after he is gone.

It also contains a parallel between punchlines and abusing tracks. It can be said that punchlines ie punching is worse than abusing. He is trying to get across that he is getting deadlier

At first glance you think Krispy is just saying he will physically scar you, but I think Krisp is also saying that the same way Scar (from the lion king) plotted against his brother Simba and ultimately took the throne from him Krispy Kreme is taking the throne of hip-hop. This is also referred to on the later ling “Ball so hard record labels wanna sign me” seeing as Jay an Ye are the Throne

The pro agrees with Shad’s previous statement and takes it a step further by saying no rapper period can match his rapping.
He’s convinced by this because most of the other rappers can’t “even flow” meaning they have a bad flow and they can’t rap well while “Even Flow” is also a song by the band Pearl Jam
