I think I've been mistreating all my powers for the evil
Abusin' metaphors and similes so I could please her
Since You've Asked by Patrick J. Dimosthenis (Ft. Nielz10) 1

Ever heard the term “Love makes you do the craziest things"
That’s the situation of Negrostotle. He was probably this innocent, and positive poet, written beautiful rhymes and uplifting poetry. But now through lust, and false pleasure he is tempted by this female to abandon his ways to satisfy her. So instead of polite, and kind rhymes, he says the opposite, going against who he really is deep down.

This “girl” can also mean the rap game. Mainstream rap doesn’t have the most uplifting lyrics, and most of talented, and lyrical emcees are underground or indie. He wants to “change” his lyrics so he can make it to the top eventually selling out his soul for money and power.

They don't obey their parents maybe they will obey me For The Babies by Damian Marley

It’s a sad but true fact that most kids these days listen more to, and have more inspiration, towards the artists they listen to rather than the parents.

Damien is suggesting that if they don’t listen to the parents maybe they’ll listen to him and heed the words he is saying to them. What a powerful message.

Underdogs, those exiled by societies definition of “normal”, who struggle on a daily basis just to see the next day. Or basically those who have that “I don’t give a fuck” attitude and will do whatever it takes to see you dead.

Cypress Hill has got the finest bud in town. How good is there bud? Can’t you take a hint?

Bitch try sniffing it

This can be seen as a double entendre:

  1. As a threat: Bitch try touching my bag of weed and I’ll cut you

  2. Or as a simple questioning initiating a challenge: I dare you to sniff my weed, and TRY to handle the high.

And you haters don’t deserve us but we give it to you like a virus Failbait by Deadmau5 (Ft. Cypress Hill)

Everyone has haters, no matter who you are and what you do there will be haters in your lawn. The best thing that you can do is not submit to their bullshit and even thank them for their ignorance and not believing in you so in the end when the shit hits the fan they will see the success you have drawn into your life while they are selling water by the highway. You all know those cliche sayings that has populated the swagfag community, “Haters are gonna hate” and “Haters are my biggest motivators
