You can either suffer forever or linger on the good moments – but remember that good things don’t come easily.

It’s pretty obvious which one Kendrick chooses judging by the fact that he has never felt euphoria

Also note the Alliteration in “P”:

Pain forever or prolong the pros and cons of prosperity is strong

Wale compares his raps to a yard – originally, no one noticed it, as is there was a fence around it.

But then, people started listening to him, and visited his “yard” as if there were a yard sale there. Yard sales usually get a lot of visitors, so this means that a lot of people started listening to his music.

He continues the “yard sale” metaphor by saying that the items which he was selling at this yard sale were just his thoughts – which are what he puts into his music.

Then he says that, although his thoughts are only being sold at a relatively low-key “yard sale” now, if you buy in now, the thoughts' worth will grow until they’re worth a fortune in a few years.

SPOILER: He was right

The way Jay pronounces “little” here (lickle) is reminiscent of a Jamaican accent – perhaps the girl is Jamaican?

When you are speaking to a foreigner, who speaks English as their second language, you sometimes has to speak slowly so that they can understand.

Along those same lines, because Cyclone caused so much damage to his opponent, his trainer has to speak very slowly to him.
