This is the most important track of the year. Music fans owe it to themselves to go read the annotations on Rock Genius, including my favorite annotation on the entire site, which delves into why Daft Punk do what they do. Go read about who Giorgio Moroder is and what he means to Daft Punk and Random Access Memories.
This track changed my perspective on electronic music and opened my mind to how next level the Daft Punk record was. #1 Album of the Year for me. Bar none.

This beat tho! I love King Krule…One of the most original artists out there and an unforgettable deep voice. The simple guitar riff with the spacey effects and re-verb create such an awesome atmosphere. This guy’s the man and in 2 years will surely be one of the biggest acts in England…EVen though he looks like a cross between Rick Astley and the pimple-faced kid from The Simpsons:
