This is a comment about the Africans arriving in the Western hemisphere as a result of the slave trade (and perhaps more broadly all immigrants from the East), who, through the lens of what is presented in the media, believe the West is ‘developed’ and ‘civilized’ and would never consider, for example, moving back to war torn and ravished Africa even though it is their ancestral homeland.

The meaning of these lyrics goes far deeper than the conscious level which, as stated here, relates to the current state of the Afrikan diaspora throughout the globe. What Damian is referring to goes “deeper”. In Voodoo tradition we learn that dark-skinned peoples who would be today classified as Afrikan once inhabited the lands now known as the Americas. The first of all ancient societies founded in North and South America were “Afrikan” or “Atlantean” at their root, started by survivors from the Great Cataclysm (Flood/Earthquake) when the Atlantic ocean became the deep divide between Afrika and America (East and West). Some fled East (Egypt) some fled to the West (Mexico). Those who arrived in the Isthmus of Tehuantepec spread the ancient wisdom of the black race for millennia mixing with influxes of immigrants from China, India and other groups who over the years journeyed to the “New World”.
Many teachers rising up in these last days in the “Moorish” movements are redefining the meaning of the phrase “African American”. People like Yaffa Bey, Dr. Alim Bey, etc. will tell people that it is the ancestors who reveal the true and buried history of this land and any place on the globe or any time period you may be curious about. Mixing and the mass death (anthropologists estimate between 80 to 90 percent) that occurred due to disease at the time that the Spanish came paving the way for the rest of the Europeans who would come in more recent history. This made it terribly convenient for the re-writers of His-Story who give the story that the conquerors want us to hear. And yet in these crazy end-times even many “white” anthropologists and historians have been uncovering the deeper truths and declaring the ancient Afrikan presence here in the Americas. Even some “white folks” who are not interested in the ancient pyramid builders but more focused on the beginnings of their American Experiment under the “Founding Fathers” of the United States of America, have been made aware of the existence of the Moorish Nation of Black Survivors and its early attempts to deal diplomatically with the Brittish and French new-comers.
So, black youth have no excuse to not be aware of these things. But if you trust more in the “Official Story” handed you by the Establishment then you will not receive the message of the ancestors, and until you at least open you MIND and HEART slightly to that message you will never receive the evidences that are everywhere in the geological, linguistic, and historical record. The divided state of modern-day religions is full of confusion, but even the religious records (scriptures) of Judaism, Masonry, yes even Christianity, Islam, even and especially Mormonism, all of their Holy Books testify to the truth of the black race, when you read between the lines and don’t rely on the religious interpretation of the word. And on an even deeper level the East is the Right Brain Hemisphere and the West is the Left Brain Hemisphere. If you can only ever switch between the two instead of activating both together through the Pineal gland, then you are a house divided and will fall.
