#WHO’S WAYNE PERRY?
Wayne “Silk” Perry (b. 1962) is currently incarcerated in ADX Florence, a supermax facility in Colorado.
He has been described as “the most infamous gangster to ever walk the streets of Washington D.C.” and “the Michael Jordan of the murder game.” His cohorts on armed robberies used to take the bullets out of his gun because of his trigger-happy nature. His hustles included murder for hire, robbery, drug dealing, extortion. He pleaded guilty to five murders in 1994, at 31 years old.

#WHAT’S THE MEANING?
On the one hand, Jay’s saying that his flow is murderous like Perry was. Also, Hova is saying that if anyone asks, you know nothing about him. You saw nothing. It’s another comparison to Perry, who went free for 20 years because everybody was afraid to say anything about him. He was notorious for killing off witnesses.
But then he says “Y'all know nothing about Wayne Perry,” followed by several lines about social media. What he’s implying is that most rap fans know nothing about life on the streets. They have “guns on their Tumblrs,” but “fuck hashtags and retweets” – you have “140 characters in the street,” that is, you could be cut short at any time.
The line doesn’t glorify Perry; Perry is, by all counts, a monster. What Jay is saying is that you don’t know anything about life on the streets: for most RG members, that’s probably true. It’s a complex dis against posers.

Before the days of vinyl wraps a number of artists have been invited by different car manufacturers (most notably BMW) to use their vehicles as a canvas.
