Lupe just told you not to take smell, so you’ll get punished if you do

When bussing began and they brought black kids to white schools it was a nightmare for some of the kids due to the hate and violence. Martin Luther kings dream helped make bussing a reality.

This line emphasizes that Lupe is talking in code in the song about his performing illegal acts. The potato silences an illegal act of murder just as the use of metaphor and wordplay obscures the actual meaning of the song and the illegal acts Lupe committed.

The previous line discussed strife on lands, regions, or continents, so Lupe follows it by zooming in and talking about the small acts of cruelty that underlie bigger events, just like the smaller acts of sin (signing record deals with evil companies, drinking moonshine, etc.) lead to bigger ones (having incestuous sex with one’s cousin, for example).

This is another reference to white “whites get whiter in the cold” drugs which refers to negative lyrics or lyrics that glorify the streets/game. Industry puppets have their albums on the store shelves(whore) snow thaws when the records sell.

this is definitely a Metal Gear Solid reference. Snake is the name of the Protagonist. Sins of the Father is the Title Score of MGSV and the twins Lupe refers to are the Twin Snakes, Solid and Liquid.
Lupe obviously draws a lot of inspiration from the games and compares his legacy to that of the legendary mercenary.
Him being Snakeheaded could either mean his mindset is that of one of the Snakes or he is referring to Snakeheaded people whose motivations in life are pure greed. Both explanations make sense with the themes of materialism being present in the Song and Lupes Mural Style rapping about his consciousness.

The principle of Chekov’s gun states that a gun introduce in the first act of a play must go off by the final act. Lupe contests this principle. He grew up in an area, Chicago, filled with gun violence. However, in this song he describes a life full of peaceful experiences.

On a metaphorical level, one could not predict the trajectory of Lupe’s life from where it began. Chekov is wrong because the introduction doesn’t predict what happens later.

“Youth moves pay dividends as an old man” simply means that wise actions in youth (financial, moral, or otherwise) will benefit one in old age. Early retirement is surely the dream.

And that line about “gathering ye rosebuds while ye may”

As a comment on the previous line, Lupe says that his current “resurgence into socialism” was aided by his earlier, socialistic outlook. Though he’s invested in “socialism” since “album 0,” we need look no further than F&LII (when he was the most socially “woke”) to notice how well it is all paying off for him now; same goes for the fans whose attention has kept him afloat throughout the supposed “fiasco” of his career.

“Youth moves playing dividends as an old man” could refer to his previous album, Tetsuo & Youth, and how that imagery from that album (particularly Mural) sets up the imagery of this track, including mentions of video games, world religions, and the body as a temple. If you listen to T&Y backwards, the final track features children laughing and waves in the background, so it is possible that T&Y backwards is designed to lead into Drogas Wave, and this line is a coded reference to that move.
