The thing about mixed drinks is that the more you drink, the more alcohol you tend to add per drunk. At this point in the night I would assume Rocky is fairly intoxicated and there is more Crown Royal in his drink than would normally be added.

Rockwell is thankful for all of his fans and supporters. He sees them as family in a sense.

In order to make something of yourself, you need to be willing to put in work. You’ll never be able to make a lot of smoke, be seen from far and wide, without having that spark of ambition and passion. He took the belief that he was always meant to do this, and when that combines with his ambition for it he becomes the “livewire”. A livewire is an electric line that still has a current in it meaning Rockwell will never run out of energy for this.

The group of people you roll with are fake and untrustworthy. As soon as things start to go bad, they’ll be the first ones to abandon you. The sign of a good crew is that they will stick with you through the good times and the bad.

You should want to be your own person. You aren’t really living your own life if you spend all your time trying to be someone else.

Rockwell and his crew are shining so bright, they are like a fluorescent light which are notorious for having a very “poppy” light. Fluorescent lights also give off an ultraviolet light. Even if you aren’t looking for Rocky, you’ll be hard pressed to miss him.

Rockwell has an immense feeling of elation, and rather than fighting it and trying to suppress it, he’s going to embrace it. He is inviting all of his hater to his party so he can show them how good he’s doing. He’s also saying that they know who they are. He isn’t going to name names because he’s above that. They aren’t worth the recognition.

Night time is the most common time for loneliness to set in. When you’re missing someone it’s a lot easier to ignore that longing during the day when it’s bright and sunny out, but once the world turns dark it becomes harder and harder to fight those dark feelings.

The feelings you get from the moment are bringing it to life. This is a funny thing to say because it seems that your senses make you feel moments in life but Theo is saying that if you embrace the sensations you’re feeling, it will make the moment that much more enjoyable.

There are certain nights, and these are the ones that Theo is talking about, when it feels like the whole world is slipping into a state of dreary-ness. The rain is beginning to pour and that will often put people in a miserable mood, accompanied with the night starting to fall, it paints a very somber scene.
