We’re taught to believe in ethereal beings such as devils and angels. If the Intervention Theory is correct, what we know as God’s Angels and Satan’s devils may be aliens on Nibiru. Soulo is talking from Nibiru’s perspective, which would contain the angels and devils.

Looks similar to Luke 23:34
“Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.”
He just asked god to forgive Pusha for being a fake gangsta.

Stamping the package is slang for dealing coke. The only time Pusha T “stamps the package” is when he’s at the post office, where you have to put a stamp on the package you’re sending.

This could be a reference to Ernest Hemingway’s short story “The Killers,” in which a clock that’s running 15-20 minutes fast plays a central role. The clock ties in with Andre’s butter-knife-sharp memory—both might be a little off

Hemingway is also known for his minimalist style. Although enigmatic and symbolic, he is best known for being concise (but effective).

Also, Hemingway is known for his gift of narration and storytelling. Andre 3000 could be calling attention to the fact that he had begun narrating kind of unconsciously on an event he’s been reflecting on, and is realizing this with a rhetorical, “What am I Hemingway?”

The Last of the Mohicans is an 1826 novel by James Fennimore Cooper. One of the novel’s main characters is Natty Bumppo, also known as Hawkeye, a white man who was raised among Native Americans.

Kendrick here uses the title of the novel as a nod to the idea of him being the final person of his kind to survive. Whether he is referring to surviving his Compton youth, his status as an original artist in a trend-driven industry, or something else entirely is unclear.

This audio comes from the video linked here. The man is reading the transcript of a quote by Colonel Edward House, who was foreign policy advisor to Woodrow Wilson during Wilson’s presidency.

The quote describes a system created by the government which essentially turns humans into slaves without them knowing via the social security program. The guy speaking also talks about making the people “chattels” (slaves) which goes with the next track “Terrorist Threats” when Soulo says “I ain’t tryna be nobody’s chattel.”

Also, notice how Alori Joh pronounces “illuminated” like the term “Illuminati”.

He wears his Locs (shades) all day (9-5). Many gang members wear Locs around LA (i.e. Eazy-E almost always wore them and was a Crip), but he wears them too. 9Five is also a eyewear company.

He wears sunglasses because his eyes are very sensitive to light, a result of having Stevens-Johnson syndrome as a child.

L.O.C. is an acronym meaning Love of Crips. That’s why he makes the distinction saying he’s talking about the shades.
