Mainstream MCs may spend millions making an album. So, while they sell more copies, it hurts their profit margin. So, in turn R.A. made his for a minimal amount, allowing him to cop a bigger slice of the profits.

Probably why his left foot stinks. But alas, he’s dope on the b-ball court, so he doesn’t care.

This could be connected with an earlier lyric:

My undefeated record can’t be broken, I’m the chosen
Jesus Christ the Lord, you can see me walking on the ocean

He’s calling on everybody and anyone who wants battle, and he can’t be stopped, as the Lord will not respond to those who pray to see him fall. This could be because Christ has co-signed for R.A.’s gift on the mic.

The superiority complex is an exaggerated striving for superiority in which the individual hides their feelings of inferiority.

At first, he decides this is reason for his perceived grandiose accusations. He then realizes that he’s actually better than all other rappers in such a way that’s too difficult to explain, thus it must be Complex Superiority.

King R.A. entered the rap game in ‘88, at the height of the B-Boy era of Hip-Hop.

This would’ve been more than a decade before rap group The LOX would start their own fan-charged campaign to be released from Diddy’s Bad Boy Label to join with Ruff Ryders/Interscope in 1999.

Other rappers are so non-threatening and pop, your daddy probably bumps their jams in his Prius. The Black Eyed Peas song “Where’s the Love” Feat. Justin Timberlake has been performed live with JT Beatboxing at the end of the track.

Another possibility could be a subtle nod to Brother Ali, whose conscious style could be seen as more mature. Timberlake made an impromptu appearance at a Brother Ali show, and surprised the crowd by beatboxing while Ali freestyled for 15 minutes, after accidentally being kicked off stage by Ali, who mistook him for a wild fan and initially questioned security. Ali is legally blind, and did not recognize JT.

This is also most likely a way of saying hip-hop nowadays is so pop, that even Justin Timberlake thinks he’s an MC now.

No widely accepted entertainer could ever get away with such foul behavior, and in turn R.A. doesn’t care about industry awards. Instead, he cares for the art of rhyme, and makes a plea to the young generation of rappers to put that before money and bring it back to what hip-hop used to be — the rhymes and beats. As he continues on the next lyric, he feels that most are just in it for a quick dollar.

Is that a subliminal hint (NO!) Well, possibly. That’s one to speculate on, especially seeing that Eminem is called out once, possibly twice and Rugged has stated in numerous videos and publications that he doesn’t think Em is the GOAT, and was quoted as saying “I think I’m nicer” in reference to mic skill. Either way, it’s an interesting choice for a sample.

Also, After the sample sings “I do, I think about you”, R.A. can be heard saying:

See this Move? I don’t even gotta say too much, just let the beat say it for me.

Nuff said? Perhaps not.
