K.R.I.T makes reference to the biblical verse Genesis 1:26

Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.”

KRIT is encouraging us to aim for perfection; living lives like Adam and Eve who were perfect before they sinned biting into forbidden fruit. Although we are flawed creatures, we should strive to be like the Creator who crafted us.

On this album, KRIT is creating a planet based on his subconscious. This intro shows the constant battle/conversation Krit has with his conscious-mind when it comes to creating and crafting new music/content.

A lot of times Krit wants to take a break and rest, but for some reason he always ends up giving-in to his conscious and continues grinding and creating the music that he feels makes him the “King of the South”.

The way the conversation goes also creates a parallel like Krit and the woman are thinking about having a baby, Showing how close to his heart the music is. Further evidenced by how after the outro where they discuss what to name it, and also lines like [“The days and times another you and me will arrive”]

Big K.R.I.T. has also mentioned in several interviews that Cadillactica is all about creating. From his interview with Complex:

For me it was trying to get back in a space of creating — not just because people want it, not trying to outdo anybody — but just creating a body of music that nobody would expect from me, and that I could obviously grow from myself.

This skit perfectly sets the tone for what Cadillactica is all about.

Playing on the stereotype about cab drivers being from Pakistan or India, which are both two of the best nations in the world in cricket. Just like the cab driver knows everything about cricket, Wiki knows everything about spitting.

Crisco is a brand of shortening which markets products such as cooking spray, various olive oils, and other cooking oils, which is what is being referenced in this line.

Crisco oil “pops” when used on a warm pan, and Ave uses wordplay to compare how he has it “popping” just like the oil.

Nico has been struggling to get his point across, and to make people understand him.

In the Bible a story is told about The Tower of Babel (Babylon), which was where God first created different languages. This obviously lead to a lot of confusion, and to make a truce would be near impossible without misunderstandings.

As this takes place in a strip club, this line can have two meanings:

• Literal stage smoke and mirrors, as a part of the stripper’s show.

• The phrase “smoke and mirrors” can also reference to someone distorts the truth. In this case it means that the stripper is deceiving her crowd or audience into thinking that she is the right girl for them, and thus them spending more money on her.
