In the film Higher Learning, Kristen gets drunk at a bar with Billy. They later leave the bar and go back to the Frat House to have sex. While having sex, Billy indicates to Kristen that he isn’t wearing a condom. , Kristen decides she doesn’t want to have sex. Despite this, Billy ignores her refusal, and rapes her. She eventually fights him off, and flees.

After being date raped, Kristen begins to develop feelings for one of her female friends named Taryn.
