Blue Dragon is the name of the strain of weed that was on my bedside table while I wrote this.

The first of several interpolations of other rappers' lyrics in this song. This, of course, bites the Soulja Boy classic Turn My Swag On

Following this line, there’s a really loud and relatively obnoxious car crash sound effect I inserted, leading to our hook…

Lost, useless, exposed to the elements, and confusing to suburban white people.

It’s actually the deadass opposite.
You probably care more about rapping than me. I definitely rap better than you.

This is the fucking corniest shit I have ever said in my life and another reason that you shouldn’t write your songs in 10 minutes in one draft and say “Yeah, this is good enough.”

A song I made with former RG user and producer Ben Devlin in the winter of 2014 to blow off steam. I wrote the lyrics in about ten minutes, it was inspired by a joke an old fellow made at a holiday party held by my grandparents; “You know what ‘Ford’ (the auto company) stands for, don’t ya? ‘Found On Road Dead.’” I don’t really get it, but I liked it.

The hill I used to have a smoke spot on back in high school. It’s overwhelmed by Eucalyptus which is actually an invasive species in the East Bay. We need to get rid of that shit but every time someone talks about it Marin County idiots compare removing invasive plant life to “doing what Hitler did to the Jews of Germany to the trees” (I actually saw this happen once)

“Shapiro” is a traditionally Jewish last name. Ganjah K delivers a clever multi and evokes age-old concerns of Jewish domination of the private economic sector in one line to convey that his drive for money is eternal, under any circumstances.

I’m actually a huge fan of Steven Universe, Rebecca Sugar’s emotionally uplifting and occasionally conceptually fascinating series about the adventures of a chubby, happy-go-lucky kid born of a union between a human man and a woman from a species of sentient, magical crystal beings.
Yellow Diamond was being hinted when this song came out, and has since been confirmed, to be the BBEG (“big bad evil guy”) of the Steven Universe series. Lesser evil characters speak ominously of her before her reveal. She’s the most intelligent, analytical, and logical being in the universe that still has a physical body. She’s a tactical genius to put Genghis Khan to shame. She’s…actually pretty much a giant cunt, as it turns out.
