A reference to the late great Big Punisher. Chino prays for the lungs of Big Pun who was often noted and revered for his minimal pauses to take breaths. Chino says a prayer when he’s angry to be able to rip people apart verbally without stopping for them to get a word in edgewise.

#RIP BIG PUN.

#Spoiler Alert

During the credits of the film there are clips of interviews of Boston citizens who speak their minds on the Saints and what they do for the city. Many “show love” to the Saints:

Burton is often noted for making “dark” films, almost signifying a dark mentality but Chino is even darker with the ability to wake even the darkest of minds.

Often there’s a distinction between elves in lore. Here there is a reference to the elf Legolas from J.R.R. Tolkien’s “The Lord of the Rings”. He was a great archer and a good looking elf, unlike Christmas elves. In the films he is played by Orlando Bloom. Who, on the real, is a good looking dude.

Albeit Santa doesn’t sound like the most sexually attractive individual at least he’s jolly and loving. A Christmas Elf doesn’t sound very sexually attractive either, nor does it sound like they’d be very pleasing in bed.

While Santa is dressed in red elves are typically dressed in green to accent Christmas colors, but would also draw comparison to Robin Hood who dressed in green clothing.

Lady Gaga was born in New York City. Both of them actually found their singing careers beginnings performing in NYC nightclubs.

I was always singing, but didn’t plan on pursuing it seriously. When I got to New York City when I was 18, I started playing in clubs in Brooklyn—I have good friends and devoted fans on the underground scene, but we were playing for each other at that point—and that was it.“
Lana Del Rey on her career beginnings.

Gaga isn’t any different now than she was in her humble beginnings.

Lana is also lamenting on how NYC has lost the soul that made the city’s music and art scene special in the ‘80s and '90s, instead becoming a pathetic, gentrified, commercial attempt at being what it once was.
