The taming of the shrew is a comedy by William Shakespeare, believed to have been written between 1590 and 1592.
The main plot depicts the courtship of Petruchio, a gentleman of Verona, and Katherina, the headstrong, obdurate shrew. Initially, Katherina is an unwilling participant in the relationship, but Petruchio tempers her with various psychological torments—the “taming"—until she becomes a compliant and obedient bride.
Since then, there have been countless retellings, parodies (such as the award winning 1999 film 10 Things I Hate About You), books, and films made about the comedy.

Legendary hip hop producer active since 1988, Large Professor is best known as a founding member of the influential underground hip hop group Main Source and for his frequent collaberations with Nas, especially on his classic 1994 debut ‘Illmatic’ considered by many to be the greatest hip hop album of all time.

N.W.A frontman, who was easily distinguished by his unique high-pitched voice, Eazy-E was one of the most famous gangsta rappers of all time. He had an iconic look, with his Loc sunglasses, jheri curls and signature compton snapback. Started Ruthless Records, and had beef with fellow N.W.A. member Dr. Dre after the group had fallen apart, but it is still remembered as a legendary hip-hop beef. He was actually known for using ghostwriters and not having much lyrical skill. Sadly, he died of HIV/AIDS in 1995. Is remembered throughout the hip-hop community as a legend.

This line is about perspective. An optimist would say a glass is half full, while a pessimist would say it’s half empty. Here it is being used in a literal sense. He sees a half full glass, so he just drinks it himself.
In a 2002 interview with MVRemix, Slug says “I’m not really into having a lot of fun, I kind of like being moody and brooding, pissed off and stuff like that.” The idiom, has two sides, the optimisitc approach and the pessimistic approach. Either way there is still a glass filled halfway. Slug sees the glass as half full (a display of optimism), then proceeds to drink the glass, leaving no room the “half full”, “half empty” approach. Instead of being a pessimist and saying the glass is half empty, Slug goes a step further with his negativity and drinks the whole glass, leaving himself with nothing. Nothing is worse than half full-half empty.
