This annotation seems to go out of its way to avoid the suggestion of a possible sexual relationship between the nanny and the child in question. Now before you hit the “It’s a stretch” button, all I’m saying is that this theme comes up a lot in discussions of the song and shouldn’t be excluded in an annotation of the verse’s meaning.

To clarify something, nowhere in the song does it mention that it is an unrequited longing on the part of the child stimulated by the “mere sight of her” as the original annotation says. On the other hand, the song does explicitly refer to Fanny as being a “naughty nanny” whenever the child was “left alone” with her. It’s completely up to the listener to decipher what Fanny’s “nughty” actions were that turned him into a “bad boy” (awoke the protagonist’s pre-school age sexuality) and left him with a lifelong fetish for large women that resembling “big fat Fanny". It’s still a tongue in-cheek song, funny song that just happens to joke about possibly being sexually molested.

The original annotation mentioned similarity to Van Halen’s “Hot for Teacher” which isn’t quite as explicit, but does have the line, “But then my homework was never quite like this,“ vaguely referencing a sexual relationship with the teacher (which nonetheless could still be imaginary).
