PETA may represent a group of people in general that can cause one to garner unwanted attention. Money might hold little importance to Milo because it could lead to questionable decisions (like purchasing a squirrel fur coat), and those decisions could cause certain folks to perceive one in a negative light. Such are side effects to celebrity.
There’s a tongue-in-cheek play on the word pelt, as it means to hit or in this case, hold against for. It’s also the skin & fur of an animal, referring to the lavish squirrel coat Milo would be scorned by PETA for wearing.

I mean, this annotation is beautiful and creative with the use of the gif so it’s hard to say this is worthy of improving on
But I just wanted to point out the little play on words with the trapezius sounding similar to the word trapeze which plays on the lines directly above referencing a balance beam.
