A reference to Strawberry Fields Forever by The Beatles, in which John Lennon sings:
“No one I think is in my tree,
I mean it must be high or low”
This refers to Lennon’s feeling that he knew he was different, he just didn’t know if that made him a genius or crazy. I always felt great empathy with this lyric. Plus, it wouldn’t be me unless I fitted some kind of 60s quirk in.
