Angelica’s exact words when she told me to jump off the bridge was, in fact, “Nobody likes you, why don’t you just die?” Those words echoed in my head for months afterwards up until our break-up in May 2013.

I took those words to heart and began attempting suicide more frequently and by various means although I did not always think about killing myself. There were moments where I was truly happy with her although they began more sporadic and far apart.

Despite the fact that I was once in love with her, I constantly found myself crying myself to sleep at night after major fights.

Whenever we would fight, my ex would blame me for the fight and tell her friends exaggerated stories to make myself look worse than I actually was. In reality, she was at fault for just as many fights as I was.

Not only did my ex tell me to kill myself, she was pretty specific in that she wanted me to jump off the Old Wenatchee Bridge.

In this verse I criticize the relationship I once shared with Angelica Vega and touch on my suicidal tendencies while we were dating.

I struggled with depression for years and at night would have dreams of myself dying very gruesome deaths. To combat depression, I attempted suicide multiple times and kept a box of suicide notes from every time I failed at suicide.

Not only was my girlfriend rude and hurtful, she also told me I should kill himself. It was during a major fight when she broke up with me (the break-up lasted about 3 minutes) and told me to kill myself since nobody (not even her) loved me.

Even though my girlfriend was rude and treated me like a lesser person, I would always forgive her because I used to believed that we were madly in love.
