Jimmy Skoog remixes Bastille’s “Pompeii”

This is the first time I have ever spoken about my ADHD in my songs. After I decided to skip my rap name JaeWon I had gotten a little more personal in my writing (with songs like “Wild Things”, which was still unreleased at the time I dropped this one). I still felt like I need to make the first song under my birth name something memorable, so I hit up my producer Alex and told him I wanted to remix Pompeii. He did the verse parts the night and sent them to me. I wrote and recorded the verses on the same day and it just happened to turn out super personal. People are still hitting me up about it, saying it has helped them in different ways on a personal level, and that means the world to me. – Jimmy Skoog
