This is a dis at 3rd Bass’s “rival", the Beastie Boys. Formed in 1981, Beasties are a hip-hop group from NYC, who has, for the majority of its run, consisted of three MCs/musicians:
- Michael “Mike D” Diamond (vocals, drums)
- Adam “Ad-Rock” Horovitz (vocals, guitar)
- Adam “MCA” Yauch (vocals, bass).
On May 4, 2012, MCA died of cancer at the age of 47. The BBoys have sold well over 40 million albums.

Jell-O is a brand name for gelatin desserts, including:
- fruit gels
- puddings
- no-bake cream pies
The trademark belongs to US-based Kraft Foods, but the brand’s ubiquity throughout the US & Canada has led to its use as a generic and household name for any gelatin products. Jell-O is sold in various colors and flavors, either ready-to-eat or in packets, containing powdered gelatin and flavorings, along with sugar &/or artificial sweeteners. Preparing the powder is straightforward:
- Dissolve in very hot water.
- Chill and allow to set.
- Fruit, vegetables, whipped cream, or other ingredients may be added to produce elaborate snacks that can be molded into various shapes.
*Just so you know… “Food-grade gelatin is a mixture of peptides and proteins produced by partial hydrolysis of collagen extracted from the skin, hoof and bones” of domesticated cattle and pigs. YUM!!
