efemjay says he’s “quick to toast an emcee” if you put one up against him. But “by the luck of the draw,” efemjay is facing Alex Ruffin – who, by implication, efemjay does not consider to be an emcee.

This is a play on the opening lines from Brand Nubian’s One For All album, the song “All For One.”

“I hit a beat and swing a note as if my name was David Ruffin
quick to toast an emcee just like an English muffin”

David Ruffin was a soul singer most famous for his work as one of the lead singers of the Temptations.

Alex Ruffin was the name of efemjay’s opponent.

Even though efemjay’s friend enjoys “fisting” (taking another man’s fist into his rectum, and/or doing the same for another man), he and efemjay are still friends.

“Shrimping” in this case, refers to sucking sperm from another man’s rectum via a straw.

“Snowballs” refers to ingesting one’s own semen from another person’s mouth.

Here, efemjay seeks to understand his friend’s sexual desires. Perhaps by understanding, he can be a better friend.

efemjay laments the fate of his friend’s sperm, which search in vain for an egg in the “barren ground” of another man’s rectum.

Homosexual men are at an increased risk of contracting HIV/AIDS, and here efemjay warns his friend of these dangers. He advises regularly using condoms (“jimmy hats”) as a defense against contracting HIV/AIDS.

“Drop kids off at the pool” is slang for defecating in the toilet. “Kids” in this case being “turds,” and the “pool” being a toilet. The implication here is that efemjay’s friend’s anus is sore from having anal sex with men.

Here, efemjay is rationalizing, or trying to explain away his friend’s gayness. His friend isn’t really gay, he’s just “overly polite” – that’s why he “pushes in a guy’s stool.”

This is a play on the literal meaning of “pushing in” someone’s stool – literally, pushing in their chair at a dinner table; and the alternative meaning, which is to push in one’s lover’s fecal matter with one’s penis during anal sex.
